Pencil Hardness Test
Determines the film hardness by pencil test (Wolff-Wilborn) in accordance with ISO 15184 and ASTM D3363
- Quickly and easily evaluate the scratch resistance and relative hardness of coatings
- 14 quality graphite pencils—6B to 6H hardness values in a protective case
- Custom aluminum pencil sharpener specifically designed for the Pencil Hardness Test—includes 5 and 6 mm reference marks for precision graphite length
- Comes complete with everything needed for testing
- Optional Pencil Cart exerts a constant force of 7.35 N (~1.65 lbf) at the specified 45° angle (included with Complete Kit)
